Red Fusion next to me at a red light earlier. Toddler standing in the passenger footwell. Mom and dad shoveling take-out spaghetti and fried chicken into their faces off of paper plates. I can't even.

Disgusting how many people do not have common sense or basic thinking skills.

And they all seem to have cars and/or drivers licenses.

Couldn’t they wait to eat until they got home? Why is the toddler in the passenger footwell?

It’s a privilege, not a right. These people should be stripped of their driver’s licenses and receive a visit from DCF (or whatever they call it in Texas).

I don't even. What could possibly be so important that you couldn't park to scarf down the food and put the kid in the back?

I had fried chicken for lunch today. I support this.

It’s not just Texas, there are a lot of people who abuse their driving privilege.

Take out Spaghetti? How the hell?
Burgers, tacos, (some) burritos.. All easily portable food.
Spaghetti?
It’s been 20 years since I’ve been to TX. Sh!t has changed.

In Texas.
I was stopped at a light inthe right lane, car pulls up in the left. Beat-to-shit mid-90s Buick. Driver is a woman, late 20s. Breastfeeding what looked like a one-year-old. Toddler standing backwards in passenger seat. Four more kids in rear seat, no belts.
But ive seen shit like that in California and Washington too. Its not just a Texas thing.

It was a mess. I tried I get it in the photo while, but I think I was in shock. I still can't believe he drove away on a 45 MPH 2-lane one-way with a plate full of spaghetti in his lap.

Oh come on now - maybe they had the munchies, the kid was hungry and they were late for ballet class! Let he/she who is without disgusting habits while driving cast the first stone.
I personally can’t get over the one lady chewing her toenails at a stoplight.

I’m more impressed that the driver could see, given their eyes are about two inches over the bottom edge of the window.

I mean, if their goal is to kill themselves and their kid, they’re doing a pretty good job

Yeah I actually typed America then changed it because I don't drive outside of TX enough to feel like I can comment on it... But not surprised.

TOE nails?! How? Wait nvm I don't wanna know.

Hah I think he was bending over to eat. But I'm also sick of this trend of guys leaning the seat all the way back to the point their eyes are at the belt line.

And I don’t want to remember ...

I’ve never understood how people can drive like that - it’s impossible to hold the wheel!

just because they are driving does NOT mean that they have licenses........ have had a few where i work, that drive on suspended licenses. every once in a while theyll get pulled over...........and the police LET THEM GO?!?!?! *shakes head ....... unbelievable...
![]() 06/24/2016 at 23:29 |

Yeah that’s what I meant by the and/or. Too damn easy to still drive without a license, because the penalties are so weak the cops don’t even care about enforcing it. On one hand in a city like this you need a car to get a round, but on the other we require license for a goddamn reason! Wouldn’t surprise me at all if this guy had no license or a suspended one. PS since you’re local - this was on the Loop 1604 Frontage at Bandera heading East.

hey, it is...... i see the “bandera pointe” sign, where the barnes and nobles is at........ they managed to make a mess of the turnaround lane there........ i almost cased the curb they put in to keep folks from running down the shoulder, the way that i always do.....
i have been cruising the ‘71. it is EXCITING in stoplight traffic.
![]() 06/24/2016 at 23:58 |

Yeah that curb seriously screwed up the turnaround. I’ll keep an eye out. Someone at my church pretty much dailies a powder blue ‘73 (I think) step side survivor. You might see him on Bandera outside 1604 now and then.

i see that thing(72ish) ALL the time there at the church.(there are a lot of churches in helotes)...... that truck is clean (from 5o yards away).......
![]() 06/25/2016 at 00:41 |
|
Yep! The guy who owns it is very active in the church - one of those committees and choirs types. The truck does have some rough spots up close, but like I said it’s a survivor. He still uses it as a work truck - there are landscaping tools in the bed and he's rolled up on weekends with the it full of mulch several times.

yeah, its fun to see all the cool old trucks still getting used for truck things....... that blue one gets a break, by being a small town truck, IN its small town....... mine actively tries to rattle itself apart on the drive...... i saw the post on the maseratti and knew where it was at...... was looking for the truck..

Should've called 911. Morons.

It crossed my mind. But I was turning left and they were going straight so I didn't really have a chance to safely look at the tag. Not sure SAPD would care anyway.

But hilarious when they get a tank slapper going. I saw a guy who was driving at full recline make a turn off a side street onto a main street and he give it a little too much power coming out. The back end broke loose and he put on quite a show trying to get his act back together.
